Sean "Diddy" Combs has reportedly been rushed to hospital after suffering a head injury in the New Jersey prison in which he has been serving his 50-month sentence.

The 56-year-old rapper, who was convicted of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution in July 2025, was taken by ambulance from FCI Fort Dix to a nearby hospital at around 1am on Saturday, for treatment for a "non threatening head injury", according to TMZ.

The outlet, which said it was unclear exactly how the musician was injured, also reported Combs was conscious and speaking when he returned to the prison before sunrise on Saturday.

A representative for the disgraced star told the New York Post's Page Six of the report: "We are aware of the reports concerning Sean Combs and are working to confirm the circumstances.

"Sean's health and wellbeing are our immediate concern, and we appreciate everyone who has reached out."

Combs was originally set to be released from prison in June 2028, but the date has changed multiple times since it was first set, and the Bureau of Prisons (BOP) are believed to have now scheduled it for March 2 2028.

News of the rapper's alleged hospitalisation comes after NBC News published a report in which they claimed Diddy spends thousands of dollars a month getting fellow inmates to give him massages, as well as cook, clean and do his laundry, and has a contraband mobile phone and alcohol smuggled into the prison.
