Police were called to a fast food drive-through in the Melbourne suburb of Preston on Sunday morning, after reports a man had fallen asleep.
"Officers were called to the restaurant on Bell Street after a man driving a Ford Ranger fell asleep at the wheel while making his food order about 6am," police said.
IN OTHER NEWS
"The driver tested positive to a preliminary breath test and was taken to a police station where he returned a reading of .233."
The man's drivers licence was suspended and his vehicle impounded for 30 days.
Victoria Police said the Preston man is expected to be charged on summons with drink driving offences.
