A 59-year-old man from Kelmscott, a suburb of Perth, will face court on July 25 over the alleged drug importation attempt from Malaysia.
"Criminals attempt to circumvent our border controls every day," Australian Border Force Acting Superintendent Carmen Lee said.
"But our highly skilled officers are alert to the indicators of illegal imports and use world-class technologies, intelligence and training to disrupt them."
Cordial and oil bottles seized
Shipments of cordial and oil bottles were flagged by Border Force officers as suspicious, police said.
Drug detector dogs had a positive reaction to the bottles, and testing confirmed the presence of methamphetamine, police said.

Investigators seized 27 bottles and replaced the contents with an inert substance before the consignment was forwarded to its intended destination at a Rockingham industrial unit on July 18.
Police will allege in court that the Kelmscott man was at the unit and "took possession of the consignments, before opening them and taking photographs of the bottles".
Australian Federal Police officers arrested the man after he left the unit and returned home.
Drugs, weapons, cash seized
Search warrants were executed at the industrial unit and at his home, and police seized the substituted consignments.
Investigators seized small quantities of substances believed to be methamphetamine and cannabis, ammunition, a crossbow and mobile devices.
Police also found $45,000 in cash in a freezer.

The man was charged with one count of attempting to possess a commercial quantity of a border-controlled drug. His case remains before Perth Magistrates Court.
The offence carries a maximum penalty of life imprisonment.
The investigation is ongoing, police said.
