The Beach Hotel took out the draught beer quality award at the 2024 Australian Hotels Association Awards for Excellence announced in Brisbane on Monday, November 25.
In total, seven Tasmanian venues were recognised.
This is the most titles ever received in a single year for the state, surpassing the previous best of five from 2015 and 2022.
For the third year in a row, and fourth in five years at national level, the French-inspired fine dining Furneaux was named best restaurant - regional.
The Tasman, which was named among the world's top 50 best hotels in September, took out the award for overall hotel of the year - accommodation division.
Hobart establishment Mary Mary was named best hotel bar - accommodation division.
Tasmania's other premier deluxe accommodation offering Saffire Freycinet was also recognised, winning Best Luxury Accommodation, the third time in four years it has been saluted.
Tasmanian Wild Seafood Adventures again came out on top for the best tourism initiative.
The Claremont Hotel was named the best gaming venue - regional.
"These wins are a testament to the dedication and hard work of Tasmania's hospitality industry. To achieve seven awards in one year is truly unprecedented, and it speaks volumes about the talent, innovation, and commitment to quality within our sector," Tasmanian Hospitality Association chief executive Steve Old said.
"From exceptional dining experiences and world-class accommodation to game-changing tourism initiatives, these winners reflect the diverse strengths of Tasmania's hospitality scene.
"This recognition also highlights the importance of continued investment in the hospitality sector, particularly in our tourism and accommodation offerings."
