Police have released the images of 12 men they want to identify as part of investigations into a riot outside a Sydney church on April 15.

The violent scenes which unfolded after the alleged stabbing of Assyrian Bishop Mar Mari Emmanuel during a livestreamed sermon saw police officers injured and police cars smashed as hundreds gathered outside Christ The Good Shepherd Church in Wakeley.
Three men have already been charged over their alleged involvement in the riot and remain before the courts.
Strike Force Dribs was established to investigate those involved with NSW Police Commissioner Karen Webb warning they could "expect a knock at the door".
Superintendent Andrew Evans from Strike Force Dribs said the 12 men pictured were being targeted by detectives "due to the violent and aggressive nature of their actions".
"We are doing everything we can to identify these men and are now appealing for public assistance," he said.
"Someone in the community knows who they are."
Commissioner Webb said two officers were seriously injured, one with a broken jaw, after the crowd "turned on police" who were called to respond to the alleged stabbing.
"People used what was available to them in the area including bricks, concrete, palings, to assault police and throw missiles at police," she said following the incident.
A 45-year-old man from Fairfield Heights was arrested on April 19 and charged with riot and threaten violence causing fear.
And a 28-year-old man from Horningsea Park was also charged with more than three people threaten violence causing fear.
It followed the arrest of a 19-year-old from Doonside who allegedly uploaded footage of himself kicking two police cars on Instagram.
