Hot new hotel: The 'happiest place on Earth' just got happier

Pixar Place Hotel has just opened at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California. Colourful wallpapers and artworks - starring some of the most famous characters developed by the animation studio - in the 479 guestrooms are just the start of the adventure at the 15-storey resort overlooking the theme park. Make your way to the property's soaring, light-filled lobby where an enormous sculpture of the famous Pixar lamp takes centre stage, then head to the hotel's staircase, where you may spot Joe Gardner from Soul playing the piano.

But if you really want to create a splash, nab a spot at Nemo's Cove, a Finding Nemo-inspired zone at the hotel's rooftop pool area, complete with waterslides and colourful cabanas. Just don't forget to make the most of the biggest perk of staying at this resort: easy and early access to the theme park.
