A 72-year-old woman has died and her daughter has been seriously injured in a traffic collision shortly before 7am on September 22.
A Holden Commodore utility allegedly collided with the mother and daughter in their Suzuki Swift at an intersection in Kippa Ring, a suburb of Moreton Bay in Queensland.
The Commodore was allegedly stolen from a northern Brisbane suburb days earlier and the male driver fled the scene on foot, police said.

Police dogs tracked the 27-year-old to a drain four kilometres from the crash site in parkland around the Kayo (Dolphin) Stadium and he was taken into custody.
"The deceased was given treatment in the car at the time, and CPR, but unfortunately succumbed to her injuries," Inspector Craig White said.
