Shocking footage has emerged of a McDonald's staff member allegedly assaulted by a group of teenagers.
A girl appears to lunge over the counter and grab a staff member by their hair as other workers rush to intervene.
People on both sides of the counter are heard yelling profanities as a man, who appears to be a customer, tries to intervene, telling the girls to stop and walk away.
The incident at McDonald's in the Melbourne Central shopping centre was filmed and posted on TikTok.
Victoria Police said four teenagers were arrested on September 20 after an alleged robbery and assault.
"A group of girls allegedly approached a 15-year-old girl on a platform at Melbourne Central railway station and made demands for her handbag about 11.20am," a spokesperson said.
"The girl sustained minor injuries during the incident.
"The group of teens allegedly fled the scene, before being involved in a physical altercation at a fast-food restaurant a short time later.
"It is alleged staff were assaulted and the four girls were arrested at the scene."

In a statement McDonald's Australia said its employees had acted with its emergency response procedures and immediately contacted police.
"No crew members were injured during the incident and we are continuing to support crew and their families," the statement said.
"The safety and wellbeing of our crew and customers is our top priority.
"Anti-social behaviour is not tolerated in our restaurants. We won't accept abuse, intimidation, threats or violence towards our customers or employees."
A St Kilda girl, 17, is expected to be charged on summons.
The other girls aged 12, 13 and 14, received cautions for attempted robbery, recklessly causing injury and affray.
