Nearly 14 years after the last episode aired the series is making comeback with the season to premiere on August 2.
This time Celia Pacquola, an actor, writer and comedian known from Utopia and Rosehaven, is at the helm.
Comedians Urzila Carlson, Aaron Chen, former RocKwiz host Julia Zemiro and Mark Bonanno of the comedy group Aunty Donna have been revealed in the first episode's line-up.
Thank God You're Here ran from 2006 to 2009 steered by host Shane Bourne and judge Tom Gleisner.
The show's concept has each guest walk through a blue door and into an unknown and often outrageous situation, greeted with the words "thank god you're here".
Left to sink or swim for five minutes the best performer is then announced at the end of each episode.

This season's twist is a surprise "comedy legend" to be welcomed each episode to scrutinise the performances.
The series helped launch the careers of up-and-coming Australian comedians including regulars Hamish Blake, Josh Lawson and Angus Sampson.
It also featured seasoned performers at their best such as Frank Woodley, Rebel Wilson and Shaun Micallef.
The show won Most Outstanding Comedy Program at the 2007 Logies and the format was sold to overseas networks including NBC in the US.
The new season premieres on Network 10 at 7.30pm on August 2.
