A desperate search for a one-day-old baby and her young mother who discharged herself from a Queensland hospital on June 12 has ended.

Queensland police say 18-year-old Khloe Bornen and her newborn baby girl were located safe at Ipswich about 11am on June 14.
Police had earlier issued an Amber Alert for the baby girl who they said "may be at significant risk" after she was taken from Ipswich hospital.
Authorities were urgently seeking Ms Bornen who was believed to be with her newborn.
But Khloe's mother, Manda-Jane Bornen, posted on Facebook on June 14 that both the mother and her baby were "safe and well".
"I've done what any mum would do to protect her child n (sic) grand child," she posted on Wednesday morning.
"She left our home not the hospital ... ill be suein (sic) for this discrimination (sic) of lies."
Queensland Police Commissioner Katarina Carroll told ABC Radio on Wednesday morning police were "concerned about this child who is only a couple of days old".
"Certainly we know there's a little bit more about this behind the scenes and the police will investigate that, but for now what we really need to do is find the mother and the child," she said.
"I call upon the public - if you can, if you know anything, please contact police."
Ms Bornen is described as Caucasian, about 165 cm tall with a proportionate build and brown hair.

Two women were seen taking the baby from the hospital and putting her into a white car, which was last seen in the Ipswich suburb of Basin Pocket at 2.30pm on June 13, police said.
Police have since located the car.

An Amber Alert is issued by police to call on the public for assistance when a child is missing.
