Vanderpump Rules reunion drops 'Scandoval' bombshells

It's been packed to the brim with scandals, lies and footage documenting the collapse of a nine year relationship.

The third reunion episode was released on June 7 for hungry Vanderpump fans keen to see villain Tom Sandoval squirm while answering questions about his affair with co-star Raquel Leviss.

The show is a spinoff of the Real Housewives of Beverley Hills which follows the staff of Los Angeles restaurant Sur and is now in it's tenth season.

Love-to-hate-him Vanderpump Rules star Mr Sandoval and Ms Leviss revealed their affair in the season's final episodes saying it had gone on for seven months.

But they hadn't been honest about how serious the affair had become.

In the final minutes of the episode Ms Leviss sat down to tape a solo interview. She skipped the first and second reunion episodes because of a restraining order she filed against another cast member Scheana Shay.

Ms Leviss said the affair was much more intense than they admitted and she and Mr Sandoval had agreed to lie about the seriousness their relationship.

"He feels like it would be less hurtful to say that this wasn't going on for so long," she said.

"I'm super embarrassed and not proud of myself and I know I owe a lot of people in this room an apology...I have been super, super selfish," Ms Leviss said.

But this proved to be a miscalculation.

Mr Sandoval's long-time partner Ariana Madix spent the episode enjoying the catharsis of telling off the pair.

"Diabolical, demented, disgusting, subhuman," she said about her former friend.

Host Andy Cohen asked Ms Leviss if she advised Mr Sandoval to end his relationship and she said "I encouraged him to reflect and see if he was really happy".

Mr Cohen points out her advice did seem "diabolical."

The new couple confirmed their relationship status and both declared they're in love. But the reunion was filmed in March and they're believed to have since broken up.

Mr Sandoval said at the time "I think that neither one of us have really had time to really process this."

"We made a mistake. We tried to rectify it and pretend like it didn't happen. We didn't want to hurt anybody. So that's what we both I think tried to do," he said.

They rubbed salt in Ms Madix's wound with the new couple admitting they had "hooked up" while she was out of town at a funeral.

"I know that the reason that Tom wanted to lie about it is because it's a really bad look to hook up with someone's boyfriend in their own house when they've gone out of town, especially for a funeral of all things," Ms Leviss said.

At the end of the reunion episode Ms Leviss tried to clear the air and apologise to Ms Madix, but it fell on deaf ears.

Just like Ms Leviss's request Mr Sandoval introduce her to his long-term relationship as a third partner. Mr Sandoval declined the offer.
