When Royal Caribbean's Icon of the Seas makes its debut in January 2024, it's expected to set a new benchmark in family-friendly cruising.

It'll have the largest waterpark at sea with some heart-stopping bells and whistles, including the Pressure Drop - the first free-fall slide at sea; and a "neighbourhood" called Surfside just for families, with an aquapark for kids.

And if that's not enough, there will be more than 20 ways to refuel on the ship - from light sandwiches at GNGR and quirky teriyaki ice-cream at Izumi in the Park to New York-style fine-dining with wagyu and caviar at Empire Supper Club.
