Lizzo will join more than 100 of the "world's most provocative and prolific musicians and DJs, alongside a crew of celebrated homegrown talent," Splendour in the Grass organisers, Secret Sounds, said on March 15.
The rest of the line-up will be announced "very soon", the organisers said.
The festival will be held in North Byron Parklands in Byron Bay, NSW from Friday July 21 to Sunday July 23.

Lizzo is a four-time Grammy nominated singer, songwriter, rapper and flautist who was crowned "Entertainer of the Year" in 2019 by Time magazine and Entertainment Weekly following her platinum debut album, Coz I Love You.
"There's no denying it. Lizzo has shifted the sound, soul, and spirit of popular music and culture," Secret Sounds said.
Special Sounds said Lizzo is spreading her "biggest, boldest, and brightest revolution thus far" with the release of her second album, Special.
