Postal Voting
If your circumstances make it difficult for you to go to a voting centre on election day, you may be eligible to apply for a postal vote.
Postal vote applications are now open for the 2023 NSW State election.
Timeline
- Monday, 13 March 2023: commence distribution of postal vote packs.
- Monday, 20 March 2023: receipt of postal vote applications close at 6pm.
- Saturday, 25 March 2023: vote and complete your postal vote certificate by 6pm.
- Thursday, 6 April 2023: completed postal votes must be returned by 6pm.
General postal voters will automatically receive ballot papers in the mail for this election.
