The best of the worst is being celebrated, with the annual satirical Golden Raspberry 'Razzie' Awards shining a light on the worst movies and performances of 2022.
Leading the pack of cinematic 'worsts' with eight nominations for the 43rd annual awards is Blonde, which moviegoers liked even less than critics did.
"Called a biopic that's not a biopic, by its makers, it explores the exploitation of Marilyn Monroe, by continuing to exploit her posthumously," the Razzies said.
In addition to Worst Picture, Blonde is also up for Worst Screenplay and Worst Director, both by Andrew Dominik, whose work here "says more about him than it does about his subject".
Copping seven gongs is Good Mourning, which Razzie describes as "a laugh-free stoner comedy achieving the rare feat of scoring a perfect zero on Rotten Tomatoes".
IN OTHER NEWS
Morbius - featuring Worst Actor nominee Jared Leto in the title role - collected five nods.
Disney's live action/CGI remake of Pinocchio made it into six categories.
Oscar Award winning actor Tom Hanks scored three nominations in this year's Razzies, including Worst Actor for his role as Gepetto in Disney's Pinocchio, Worst Supporting Actor for his role as Colonel Tom Parker in Elvis, and Worst Screen Couple for, the Razzies said, "Tom Hanks and his latex-laden face and ludicrous accent".
