Fans are coming out in force to support the Socceroos, with one regional Victorian high school teacher saying he plans to play highlights for the class after Sunday's match.
VICTORIA
Fans in Melbourne can watch from Federation Square and may want to bring an umbrella. The weather is predicted to be mild but the square is known for raining flares during Socceroos matches.
Premier Dan Andrews may announce further fan sites in the lead-up to Sunday's match.
NSW
Sydney's Darling Harbour will also welcome crowds in Tumbalong Park, with public transport free across the city from 4am to 12pm on December 4.
Sydney will host additional fan screening sites, at inner west's Enmore Park, the city's Macquarie Mall and Maroubra beach.
Wheeler Place will host Newcastle fans with Lord Mayor Nuatali Nelmes saying "Get down to Wheeler Place to soak up the atmosphere and show support for the Australian men's team."

Civic Square in Canberra, outside the Canberra Theatre Centre, will be showing the match.

Brisbane is cementing plans to screen the match live from King George Square and the Queen Street Mall.
WESTERN AUSTRALIA
Western Australians can catch the match from Northbridge Piazza in the city's CBD.
"It's a massive fixture against one of the powerhouses of world football," Lord Mayor Basil Zempilas told The Western Australian.
SOUTH AUSTRALIA
The Adelaide Oval will host South Australian fans, with a live feed running from the plaza from 6am.
