Drones are being flown over the crowd and up onto the stage during performances, the front man said on Twitter.

"Had a few drones this leg," he wrote. "Last night (Gold Coast Australia) was probably the most intrusive. Was a bit of a distraction as obviously someone thought it was just ok to be doing that, but also it coming that close in front of the stage and then actually over n' [sic] on stage."

The singer said "people were pissed" and the drones are not something they're used to during gigs.

"However much fun anyone's having ur still trying to stay focused n' do ur job n' give fans the best show u can," he said.

"We get it can b 'fun' to get ur drone bootleg vid, but we'd appreciate it if anyone planning to b a drone pirate took the fans n' the band into consideration n' played w/ur toys somewhere else."

The Gold Coast gig was the third show of their Australian tour, with concerts in Adelaide (November 29) and the MCG (December 3) left to go before they head to New Zealand.

Earlier this month the band released a 2022 version of their hit song November Rain which features a 50-piece orchestra.

On November 11, Guns N' Roses released their Use Your Illusion I & II box set which included the new version of November Rain.
