The inaugural art fair was held on the Labour Day long weekend in 2020, attracting about 1200 visitors over the three days.
With their first event such a hit, organisers Kim Lundy and Suellyn Connolly decided to run two art fairs in 2021 - on the June and October long weekends.
They have doubled the indoor space with a large, enclosed marquee with a timber floor, allowing for more artist and maker stalls to enjoy, all out of the elements.
"The unique nature of this fair attracts many talented fine artists, many of whom would not attend outdoor markets and would generally only be seen hanging in galleries or selling online," Suellyn said.
The event also encourages artists and makers to paint and create at their stall where possible, providing a unique glimpse into their behind-the-scenes processes.
The Hunter Valley Art Fair will run at Pokolbin Community Hall on the June and October long weekends in 2021, open from 9am to 3pm Saturday and Sunday, and 9am to 1pm on the public holiday Monday. Entry is free.
