Dolcie has now been found safe and sound.
EARLIER:
A dog owner is appealing for help after their four-month-old Italian Greyhound went missing from Pet Medical Muswellbrook puppy day care on Thursday afternoon.
She was last seen around the train tracks on Thursday, May 6, and near Muswellbrook High School at approximately 3pm.
The missing dog is called Dolcie, and is tiny, weighing just 4.5 kilograms. Dolcie is wearing a pink collar with a name tag and contact phone number.
Her owners have searched endlessly all night and day and say they are "exhausted and very emotional".
They are also not Muswellbrook locals, and do not know the area very well.
If anyone finds Dolcie, please call Pet Medical Muswellbrook on 6541 1555 or 0405105121.
"She is timid, so is unlikely to come up to a stranger if anyone spots her we will come immediately," the owner said.
