Those impacted will have the chance to ask questions, and hear the latest report findings from representatives from Upper Hunter Shire Council (UHSC),Transport for NSW, the Public Works Advisory and Infrastructure NSW.
The meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 21, at the School of Arts Hall, Merriwa and there will be two sessions to enable more people to participate in the conversation.
Safety concerns including the risk of landslip and cracking across both lanes forced the closure of the road, also known as Coulson's Creek Road, to all vehicles in January 2021.
The affected section, which is entirely within the UHSC, is undergoing repairs and has been a controversial topic as the road has had issues for years despite millions of dollars being spent on its repairs.
The information sessions will be held from 4pm to 5pm and 5.30pm to 6.30pm and registrations are required prior to attendance.
You can register here for the 4pm meeting or here for the 5.30pm meeting or call 6540 1100 or advise in person at any of the UHSC administration centres.
UHSC said at the last community meeting in February that the repair project could take up to three years to complete.
The last community update gained overwhelming attention, with over 80 concerned community members attending to hear about the future of the road.
