Flooding plays havoc with Hunter Line

HEAVY rainfall over the weekend has played havoc with rail services in the region.

Buses are replacing trains in both directions on the Hunter Line between Scone and Newcastle Interchange, on Monday, July 27, as well as between Dungog and Newcastle Interchange, due to flooding between Sandgate and Warrabrook.

Passengers have been advised to allow plenty of extra travel time or consider alternative travel arrangements.
