On Sunday, June 28, officers stopped a 33-year-old male in Tarakan Avenue.

The driver was submitted to a roadside breath test, which he failed.

The man was then taken to Muswellbrook Police Station where his breath analysis returned a reading in the middle range of prescribed concentration of alcohol.

He was issued with a driver's licence suspension notice and given a Court Attendance Notice (CAN) to appear at Muswellbrook Local Court later in the year.

Officers were also called to Foley Street on Tuesday, June 30, at about 9.45pm.

A resident told them they saw their sensor light come on, at the front of their home, and noticed a person trying to look through the glass panels in the door.

A check around the house and a patrol was done in the vicinity but no one was seen.

On Thursday, July 2, officers stopped a black Holden sedan in Hunter Street.

After speaking with the driver and a passenger, police located some cannabis leaf and a quantity of white pills.

At the time, the driver, a 45-year-old female, was uncooperative and hindered police.

Inquiries are continuing into this matter.
