The Snap-Happy photo competition is designed to have people take photographs and accompany it with a caption that describes how they are keeping physically, mentally, socially and/or spiritually active.
Muswellbrook ABC coordinator, Carly Hughes, spoke about why it was so crucial to do things for your mental health at this time in particular.
"Now as much as ever, it is important to spend time doing things for our mental health," she said.
"Keeping active may look a little different now but there are still lots of ways we can stay connected and active to help us feel good.
"We want to share these moments with the whole community using Snap-Happy to help inspire others to keep active.
Those across the Muswellbrook, Singleton and Upper Hunter shires are invited to take place in the competition, and two winners from four different age categories will then be selected to receive prizes.
To enter and for terms and conditions visit muswellbrookhealthyandwell.org.au/get-active/snap-happy/.
Two entries from each age category will be chosen to receive a prize to help you keep active.
