Peter Powers, who'll appear at Singleton Diggers from 8pm on Saturday, March 21, will deliver a "rollercoaster ride of an unforgettable journey of great fun and unbelievable adventure boarding on the ridiculous".
His stage show draws crowds much larger than any other hypnotist in every one of the countries he performs.
Powers is currently featuring in his own Channel 7 television series, broadcast every Sunday on 7Flix prime time.
He was a regular favourite on the Channel 9 Footy Show and has appeared on Big Brother, hypnotising housemates, and his own successful program, The Power of One (Foxtel).
Referred to as "a comedy genius", "a hypnotist without equal" and "the best in the business", Powers delights in the antics of his hapless volunteers almost as much as his audiences.
His upcoming shows will have lots of new fun and outrageous routines where the crowd can expect the unexpected.
In fits of hysterical laughter, he seems to lose himself in each performance, pushing the boundaries of standard hypnotic fair and raising the bar with unique and truly whacky routines.
All of this is delivered with a somewhat wayward humour in his distinctive, mischievous and impish style.
Beneath the well-publicised image of "evil" and "wicked" he tries hard to portray, there is a warmth, playfulness and overwhelming sense of trustworthiness that belies it.
If you're out to have a great time, you won't leave a Peter Powers' show disappointed.
While his volunteers live out their wildest fantasies or experience their worst fears, the audience is thoroughly entertained as they indulge themselves in this bittersweet adventure.
"Australia is among my favourite places to perform," Powers said.
"The audiences have the perfect outrageous sense of humour, are very supportive and always show their appreciation for my shows.
"They push themselves to the edge... thus providing great entertainment like nothing else.
"Also, possessing great sense of adventure means that there is never a shortage of volunteers to come up on the stage and give hypnosis a try.
"Australian audiences make good subjects because of their quick wit.
"There's nothing more rewarding than watching Aussies reacting and laughing as they watch their family and friends make utter fools of themselves.
"Everybody's open to the power of suggestion to some degree, some more than others."
