"The Stronger Country Communities Fund has over the years already delivered much-needed infrastructure for our electorate," he explained.
"And, this funding - available for youth and community projects - is great news.
"We're maintaining our commitment to rural and regional NSW by ensuring the community organisations receive the assistance they need."
The funding projects include: Singleton Council (Civic Centre Tiered Audience Seating) $108,900, Singleton High School P&C Association (Singleton High School Marra Talpa Fitness Centre) $62,660, Singleton Council (Singleton Civic Centre Courtyard Upgrade) $103,361, University of Newcastle (Singleton Act-Belong-Commit Youth Connectors Program) $148,312, Police Citizens Youth Club NSW Ltd (Friday Afternoon Fun) $109,396, Live Life Get Active Pty Ltd (Live Life Get Active - supporting Healthier, Happier and more Connected youth in the Singleton community) $95,625, and Singleton Rugby Club (amenities upgrade) $250,732.
Mr Johnsen said, noting that $100 million was being distributed across regional NSW, with communities set to profit from more than 550 new projects.
To date, rounds one and two of the program have funded in excess of 1000 projects.
"Locals across regional NSW are seeing the benefits of rounds one and two of the Stronger Country Communities Fund, with projects making a big difference to everyday life, from new playgrounds loved by kids to light towers illuminating sporting fields," Mr Johnsen said.
"We are funding grassroots projects that make a real difference to each community.
"And, we know how important it is to support our regional towns with new infrastructure and programs."
