Although steamy conditions met the festive revellers, almost 1000 people strolled through the White Park gates, according to Scone Neighbourhood Resource Centre manager Lee Watts.
"The community certainly supported one of our most successful events to date," she said.
"And, for that, we say thank you.
"My gratitude also goes to the sponsors, staff, committee and volunteers.
"Thank you to the market stallholders, too, who came along and tried out the shelter under the new indoor arena.
"If you didn't have a Dagwood Dog or fairy floss, there were steak sandwiches, pizzas, nachos and icy slushies or a cold beer.
"It was all on offer.
"There were many things to enjoy and we even had a flash mob thanks to Ecarte Dance Company.
"The kids were well-entertained as well, with the carnival rides, face painting, air brush tattoos, games with Sparkles the Clown and a catch-up with Santa.
"As the sun went down, a pleasant breeze cooled the day and the adults relaxed by sitting back on the grass listening to the Hamish Gianna and The Oh's."
