Only one club, the Scone Thoroughbreds, is yet to make an announcement on its leader for 2020.
"We aren't too far from making a decision," premiership-winning president Tom Hagan said.
"I'm sure it will be sorted very soon."
The Thoroughbreds' rivals, however, haven't rested on their laurels in their respective quests to halt the Scone juggernaut, which claimed back-to-back titles this season.
Runners up Aberdeen will turn to stalwart Daniel Hoogerwerf as the Tigers eye off a massive celebration in the organisation's history.
"We are about to commemorate our 100th anniversary," he said.
"So, we're all keen to put in a big effort in 2020."
The remaining clubs are opting for "new" faces to provide success.
Paul Benkovic will mentor the Denman Devils, Jake Hawkins is stepping into Jye Bayley's shoes at the Singleton Greyhounds, while Group 21 Player of the Year Liam Foran has the job of rebuilding the Greta Branxton Colts.
"I'm looking forward to working with the local junior and senior players - and re-establishing Greta Branxton as a force to be reckoned with in Group 21," former NRL star Foran said.
"I know it's not going to be easy.
"However, the challenge excites me - knowing I might be able to just help that little bit to put a competitive side on the paddock."
At Muswellbrook, the Rams are counting on two coaches, John Deakin and Marcus Bower.
"While there are still some areas [we need] to strengthen, it's important to get everyone back into that [Muswellbrook] club culture again," the former said.
"Everything will revolve around defence in 2020.
"I feel that's something we've sort of lost in previous years."
In reserves, premiers Merriwa Magpies have retained the services of Nathan Barry, while the Murrurundi Mavettes will look towards Nathanael Slater.
"Nathanael was a previous player with us in 2018," president Marty Wilson said.
"After a stint with Werris Creek in first grade, he will bring a wealth of experience to our playing roster and has the full support of the committee.
"We can't wait to see the Mavettes take the field in 2020."
