Sponsored by Hunter Valley Operations, the Rivergum bush band will provide the soundtrack for the night on Saturday, December 7, with a two-course meal and plenty of toe-tapping action on the dance floor at Club Singleton.
The Bush Dinner Dance has become an important inclusion on the social calendar for people of all abilities since it was first conducted in 2015.
This year's event is the result of collaboration and support by a range of organisations including Witmore, Challenge Community Services, Ability Links, National Disability Insurance Agency, Arts Upper Hunter and Singleton Council as part of the Disability Advisory Sub Committee, as well as Club Singleton.
Hunter Valley Operations environment and community manager Andrew Speechly said the annual Bush Dinner Dance was a great example of everyone coming together to celebrate the role we all play in our community.
"It's a fantastic initiative by the organising committee and one we are proud to be associated with," he added.
Council's director organisation and community capacity Sharon Hutch said the Bush Dinner Dance had evolved to become an event everyone looked forward to.
"People ask for it to be held every year simply because it's a terrific way for the community to celebrate people of all abilities with great music, dancing and food," she explained.
"And, to get into the festive spirit, this year Arts Upper Hunter will host workshops for event attendees to create Christmas-themed table decorations in the lead up to the dance.
"I could think of no better way to celebrate the International Day for People with a Disability - and no better way to celebrate the contribution people with disabilities make to our community.
"The event is accessible and we encourage all people with a disability, their families and carers to come along and join the fun."
The Bush Dinner Dance will take place on Saturday, December 7, at Club Singleton from 6.30pm.
Tickets, which cost $25 for adults and $15 for children, include a two-course meal, while you can pay $10 at the door (dinner not included).
