TransCare partnered with the Lions Club of Scone to aid the Local Farmers Drought Relief Fund and, earlier this month, presented the organisation with a cheque for $3739.
"We are very, very grateful," Lions Club of Scone member Geoff Pund said.
"It means we can get some more water that is going to be the big thing."
All money raised locally stays in the area, according to Mr Pund, which is part of the reason TransCare chose to partner with the group for the event.
TransCare's general manager Garry Lane was happy with the result.
"It's great to be able to support such a worthy cause in difficult times like now," he said.
"We know the Lions Club provides wonderful support for the community so it was a pleasure to provide them with half the funds raised on the evening."
Farrow Mechanical and Nathan Moore Tiling have a history of backing the Annual Barefoot Bowls Night, with about a third of proceeds being a combined effort from the two local businesses.
"I think four years I have been coming to this event," Ben Farrow said.
"On the past few occasions, Nathan and all my mates, who are in business, have all joined in, too.
"It is a very important part of the community and it gives me great pleasure being a part of that and supporting everyone in the community."
Major sponsors and supporters of the Annual Barefoot Bowls Night included Scone Bowling Club, Scone Equine Hospital, Radio Hunter Valley, Warburton Real Estate, Farrow Mechanical, Nathan Moore Tiling and Scone Outdoor.
