While the Merriwa Magpies and Murrurundi Mavettes remain undefeated in 2019, those teams meet from 7.05pm at Singleton's Pirtek Park on Friday, November 1.
It means one side is likely to suffer its first loss, opening the door for the Tigers who face the winless Muswellbrook Ramettes in round four.
Aberdeen broke through to claim a 12-4 victory over the Greyhounds in its previous outing at McKinnon Field, much to the delight of coach Albert Albury.
"It was good to get the win," he said.
"But, we haven't been that far off the pace.
"The girls were only beaten 10-6 by premiers Merriwa in the season opener.
"Then our game against Murrurundi was cut short due to injuries and lack of playing numbers.
"[Tonight] we showed what we can do."
In the remaining showdown this week, the hosts, Singleton, tackle the Scone Thoroughbreds at 7.40pm.
The competition wraps up at Muswellbrook's Olympic Park on Friday, November 15.
