Man impaled on garden stake in Hunter Valley
A 56-year-old man has been airlifted to the John Hunter Hospital after he reportedly fell off a roof and was impaled on a garden stake at a Lochinvar property.

The Westpac Rescue Helicopter responded to the incident at 10am on Monday morning.
The man was stabilised at the scene by paramedics and the helicopter's critical care medical team and was transferred in a stable condition with the stake left in situ for the flight.
