A CHANGE in traffic conditions on the New England Highway are expected to affect motorists next week as work continues on the Scone Bypass project.

Traffic on the highway on the northern side of Scone will be switched to a new section of Kelly Street, near Makybe Diva Street, to allow work to resume on building the road surface and laying new stormwater pipelines.
The work will be carried out from Monday to Friday between 7am and 6pm and from 8am to 1pm on Saturdays, and also periodically at night between 6pm and 7am, from September 23 until October 5.
Electronic message signs and barriers will also be in place to ensure safety for workers and road users.
Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions and follow the direction of signs and traffic control.
