The event, on Saturday and Sunday, September 21 and 22, is showcasing a fantastic selection of world-class Australian short films, according to Catherine Boulton.
"Once again it's all Aussie at the film festival," she said.
"In previous years, good crowds have gathered to enjoy the festive experience and appreciate the program of Australian movies.
"The 2019 program includes a wide selection including comedy, animation and drama, with something for all age groups.
"As always, the strong program includes many award-winning films that have screened around the world."
Urzila Carlson is a multi-award winning stand-up comedian, who appears regularly at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and on television in Have You Been Paying Attention and Spicks and Specks.
She stars in an hilarious Tropfest finalist film.
Pinchpot has been nominated for an AACTA award for Best Short Animation.
"Congratulations to animator Greg Holfeld for his zippy animation and to Dave McEvoy for his wonderful jazz soundtrack," Ms Boulton said.
"We can't wait to enjoy it on the big screen.
"Your Call Is Important To Us is a highly-relatable and entertaining comedy.
"This multi-award winning film stars comedian and musician Andy Lee.
"Andy is best known for his work alongside Hamish Blake in the comedy duo, Hamish & Andy.
"He also has a highly-rated radio show and his latest television project, True Story with Hamish & Andy has a second season.
"This short film also stars David James, a prolific television, film and stage actor, best known for the Oscar-nominated film District 9."
The Scone Short Film Festival is thrilled to have cinematographer Velinda Wardell ACS as a guest.
"She is an award-winning Australian cinematographer and director of photography," Ms Boulton said.
"Velinda now creates content for big and small screens, and has a breadth of experience including feature films, fashion films, documentaries, music videos and commercial work.
"She'll represent the short film, After the Smoke, and talk about her beautiful work.
"This outstanding film was nominated for a Crystal Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival.
"It is set in a remote mining town as they gather for the annual rodeo."
The festival will also host producer, director and designer Ruby Challenger.
"She'll represent her film, which is based on part of her grandmother's autobiography," Ms Boulton said.
"Her film has screened around the world and won a number of awards including Audience Choice at last year's St Kilda Film Festival.
"The evening has all the essential elements - great films, incredible buzz, terrific film guests and an enthusiastic audience.
"I'd say that our audience ranges from 9 to 90.
"All are really engaged and appreciative after every film."
Attend on Saturday evening for the red carpet event with film guests, drinks, supper, dessert and tea/coffee.
Entry for this highly-enjoyable and social evening will be $30.
A delicious supper will be served before the films, and coffee and dessert afterwards.
Once again, a casual encore screening of the program, with entry $15, will take place at 11am on Sunday.
