The initiative, driven by Toyo Tyres, is an annual activity that reaches into NSW regional centres from the Central Coast to the Tweed.
Sixers BBL skipper Moises Henriques and former Test spinner Steve O'Keefe are heading to Newcastle, international speedster Lauren Cheatle and star top order batsman Dan Hughes will be in Lake Macquarie, while rising talent Jack Edwards and NSW Blues paceman Harry Conway will spend time in Cessnock, Maitland and the Upper Hunter.
Edwards and Conway will attend a Cricket Expo/Festival at Volunteer Park in Muswellbrook on Wednesday, September 4.
From 4pm onwards, the duo is overseeing an array of different cricket-focused happenings.
"Clubs are being invited to join in to promote their club offerings for the upcoming season," cricket manager - Hunter Gary Fisher said.
"Cricket NSW will also have an information marquee available for parents, and players, to makes enquiries regarding cricket-related formats.
"There are a number of exciting things occurring in the Upper Hunter throughout 2019-20."
O'Keefe, a veteran of nine Tests for Australia and a member of the Sixers for all eight BBL seasons to date, said he couldn't wait to get into the community to talk and play cricket.
"Many of Australia's best players have come from regional NSW and the Community Blast is just one way for the Sydney Sixers ensure we keep inspiring the next generation of top cricketers from the country," he explained.
"It's three days we all love being part of.
"Players from both our Sixers BBL and WBBL teams are all involved and it's a great thrill for us, and for those cricket communities we get to visit."
