Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service transports young rider to Newcastle following motorcycle accident east of Singleton

A GLENDON Brook woman has been airlifted to John Hunter Hospital following a motorcycle accident on Thursday.

It is believed the rider, in her 20s, fell from her bike and suffered multiple injuries, including leg fractures and internal bleeding.

The Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service (WRHS) was tasked to the incident, just before noon, which occurred on Glendonbrook Road east of Singleton.

The WRHS then transported the woman to Newcastle.

She is in a serious but stable condition.
