And, flying the local flag, are the Muswellbrook Rams, Denman Devils, Greta Branxton Colts, Scone Thoroughbreds and Singleton Greyhounds after many rounds of incredible - and heart-stopping - "international" action in 2019.
The Rams and Greyhounds will contest the Group 21 JRL under-14 and under-16 league tag grand finals at Muswellbrook's Olympic Park on Friday night, August 23.
Earlier in the evening, Singleton and Scone are vying for the under-12 honours.
At Scone Park, on Saturday, August 24, Muswellbrook tackles Stockton in the CRL Central Hunter-based under-13 Division 2.
The Rams, who secured second on the ladder (on percentages), eliminated Stockton 28-26 in the qualifying final and backed up to beat Dungog 14-12 in a nail-biting semi to secure their berth.
Denman heads into battle with Raymond Terrace in under-13 Division 3.
The Devils clinched the minor premiership ahead of their weekend rivals; and also defeated them 20-8 in the second semi.
The Thoroughbreds are eyeing off two crowns.
After finishing third behind Belmont and West Maitland on the points table, the under-15 Division 2 side lines up against the former.
Scone upstaged West Maitland 28-18 in the qualifying final, then proceeded to dish out some heavy treatment to Belmont, 30-12, in the second semi.
In the under-16 Division 2 fixture, the Thoroughbreds capped off a great season, snaring top spot on the ladder and accounting for second-placed Mallabula 40-10 to progress into the decider against the Devils.
Denman, on the other hand, had to do it the hard way.
The Devils ended the campaigns of Kurri (48-4), West Newcastle (32-4) and Mallabula (24-18) for a shot at Scone.
Mini and mod fixtures will also be played at Scone Park on Saturday.
Meanwhile, the Ramettes can clinch dual women's tackle crowns at St John Oval, Charlestown, too.
Muswellbrook's unbeaten under-14 squad plays familiar foes Raymond Terrace.
When the combatants last met, a fortnight ago, the Ramettes prevailed 30-10.
And, coach Al Baker is hoping the girls keep their brilliant record intact.
The club's under-16s are also chasing glory, at the expense of West Newcastle.
Muswellbrook, which locked in first place, accounted for the same team, 32-28, in the second semi.
In the Maitland and District competition, under-10 Arnott minor premiers Greta Branxton will tackle Thornton/Beresfield in the decider, while the Colts also face Dungog in the under-12 Smith finale.
Denman meets the highly-fancied Cessnock Black in the under-12 Pilgrim showdown.
Those three Maitland and District matches are set down for Cessnock's Baddeley Park on Sunday, August 25.
