And, anyone who's keen to take up the sport in the local area can do so - free of charge.
The Scone Hardcourt Tennis Association (SHTA) is hosting coaching sessions on Sunday, August 4, from 8am until 3pm.
Highly-regarded mentors Dean Trembath, Gavin Yip and Jay Andrijic, from the Inside The Lines academy, will put the players through their paces.
There'll be a number of group classes, from under-6s to over-7s and adults.
Trembath is well-known to the Scone club, having recently conducted a workshop during the school holidays.
"Adults, children, families, bachelors, bachelorettes, teams, couples - everyone is welcome," SHTA president Kirsty Cole said.
"We were awarded a $10,000 grant from the ANZ Tennis Hot Shots program in 2018 to provide free clinics for the entire community.
"So, it's open to young and old, current members and newcomers, as well as those who have never played before.
"The intention is to increase participation [in the sport] in the Upper Hunter.
"We're also keen to help people become better tennis players by improving their physical skills, court craft and game management.
"It creates a collaborative sporting hub for the community to meet, too."
Sausage sandwiches, egg and bacon rolls, fruit, drinks, tea and coffee will be available for the participants.
