Gresford siblings Cliff and Lachlan Richardson, Singleton's Cody Heffernan and Aberdeen's protection athlete Geoff Hall are expected to electrify local fans at the 11th annual event on August 3.
Many top riders from around Australia have confirmed their intention to compete, with the elite group including 2018 Australian Champion Aaron Kleier (Clermont), 2018 Pro Rodeo Bull Riding titleholder Brady Fielder (Clermont), 2017 Australian victor Troy Wilkinson (Tamworth), 2016 Australian champ Heffernan and the Richardsons.
Protection athletes Hall and Mitch Russell, who tour the PBR nationally, will also enjoy a rare hometown match-up with some of the nation's best bucking bulls at the Newcastle stopover.
Russell will also double up as stock contractor for the event, with some of his Hunter-bred bulls set to hit the dirt in a bid to claim top honours for TnR Bucking Bulls.
They took out PBR Australia's Stock Contractors of the Year title in 2018, and are currently in pole position to nab the top spot again in 2019.
"The Hunter has long been one of the strongest breeding grounds for champion PBR riders and bulls," PBR Australia general manager Glen Young said.
"The region also lays claim to Australia's best protection athletes, Mitch Russell and Geoff Hall, who unflinchingly put their bodies on the line at all of our PBR events nationally.
"It will be awesome for them to display their exceptional skills and bravery in front of hometown crowds.
"Likewise with bulls and riders - the Hunter continues to be a powerhouse when it comes to producing the nation's top talents.
"Cody [Heffernan] sat atop Australia's PBR standings until very recently, and he still remains a strong contender to take out the 2019 crown.
"With a strong performance in Newcastle, there's a solid chance he could push himself back to the front of the title race.
"Similarly, both Cliff and Lachie are consistently threats to take out any PBR title they compete for."
The Newcastle Invitational is an internationally-sanctioned PBR tour event.
It forms part of the global series that allows riders from across Australia to accumulate rankings points for the PBR Australia Standings and PBR World Standings, which ultimately determine the PBR Australia Champion, as well as qualification for the multimillion dollar PBR World Finals which crowns the world's best individual bull rider.
Entertainment on the night will include pyrotechnics and an official after-party event at The Kent Hotel in Hamilton that will give fans a special opportunity to meet and mingle with the cowboys.
