POLICE are appealing for public assistance to help locate Arthur Cox, aged 47, who is missing in the Hunter.

He was last seen at his home on Ashwood Road, Owens Gap, west of Scone, about 7.30am on Monday, May 20.
When he failed to return home on Tuesday, May 21, family members notified officers from Hunter Valley Police District who began inquiries.
Police and family hold serious concerns for Mr Cox's welfare as he has not been seen or heard from since.
Officers conducted an initial land search on Tuesday but suspended it due to poor light.
Police starts a search about 8am on Wednesday, with assistance from officers from Hunter Valley Police District and PolAir.
Mr Cox is described as being of Caucasian appearance, between 175-180cms tall, with a solid build.
It's believed he could be travelling in a grey 2011 dual cab tray back Holden Colorado with New South Wales registration number BZZ 44W.
