Light horsemen were in attendance for the dawn service, which helped create a traditional and special atmosphere.
The march from Adelaide Street to the Murrurundi Memorial Gates was a spectacular sight to see for the locals, and the remembrance service proceeding it was equally moving.
The Gates themselves will soon undergo a $150,000 refurbishment which will only add to the spectacle in future years.
Attendees were treated to a special guest speech by Captain Bernard York who spoke about the importance of Anzac Day and the spirit around it.
Anzac Day is the solemn day of remembrance of Australian and New Zealand Army Corps soldiers who fought and died at Gallipoli in 1915.
It is also a day of remembrance for all soldiers who have fought and died for their country and is recognised with a public holiday in Australia.
