Built in 1905, this classic federation home at 534 Mirannie Road, Westbrook, features a beautiful garden setting with a palm tree, kaffir plum tree, tall grevillea robusta trees and rambling banksia rose that have seen as many summers as the homestead itself.
The garden will be the main setting for the event, which also features music, cake, plant, book and novelty stalls, as well as loads of delicious food ranging from a sausage sizzle, Devonshire teas to a sit down lunch (limited numbers).
Another highlight of the day, on Sunday, March 31, is expected to be the Kokedama demonstration, a chance to learn this beautiful Japanese garden technique, at 10.30am and again at 1pm.
All 4 You will host a fashion parade at 11am within the grounds and there is also a chance to sit in the passenger seat and take a drive in a vintage car.
"Enjoy a day in this beautiful garden and help support your local branch of the Australian Red Cross," branch president Di Sneddon said.
