Scone Films will screen the Oscar-winning movie, Bohemian Rhapsody Sing Along, at its pop-up cinema, at the corner of Oxford Road and Cooper Street, on Friday, March 22, from 7.30pm.
Bohemian Rhapsody is a foot-stomping celebration of Queen, their music and their extraordinary lead singer Freddie Mercury.
Freddie defied stereotypes and shattered convention to become one of the most beloved entertainers on the planet.
The film traces the meteoric rise of the band through their iconic songs and revolutionary sound.
It's been so popular, that it has been re-released with the words to the songs at the bottom of the screen.
This will help the audience to sing along to their favourite Queen songs.
"We are encouraging residents to come and join in," Catherine Boulton said.
"Scone Films has been the recipient of a number of grants that have enabled us to upgrade to digital cinema.
"This means a much better quality picture and improved surround sound.
"If you haven't been before, come along and support your local community cinema.
"As always, there is a warm welcome for everyone.
"There's no membership; it's open to all.
"Come with friends, or arrive on you own and make new ones there."
Entry is $12.
