Locals are invited to show off their collections, be it stickers, Lego, china, teddy bears or even historical hospital equipment between 9am and 4pm on Saturday, April 6.
If you have a collection and would like to share it with the rest of Singleton, then the organisers would love to hear from you.
Of course, that’s not all the day has to offer.
Sacred Spaces has engaged the services of well-respected valuer Alex Renwick, who is making himself available throughout the day for free appointments.
So, bring along that family treasure and he will help you with the background of the item and a valuation.
Bookings are essential and limited to three items each.
There will be discussions throughout the day on local collections and presentations from professionals on collecting and how to care for your valuables, as well as music and food.
“We’re really excited to be hosting this event,” Sacred Spaces events and marketing coordinator Cynthia Mulholland said.
“We tried to get Antiques Roadshow to come to us, but they weren’t available, so instead we are holding our own event.
“Being a collector spans all ages and walks of life.
“We would love to have as many collections as possible.
“If you have a collection, please contact our office on weekday mornings on 6572 2398.”
To make a booking for a valuation, phone the Sacred Spaces Singleton office on 6572 2398 or email office@sacredspaces.org.au
Entry on the day is $5 per person (children under 10 are free).
To exhibit your collection is free.
