While neither team will contest the 2018 play-off series, the Muswellbrook outfit showed what it was capable of at Murrurundi’s Wilson Oval on Friday night.
The Ramettes led 20-0 at the break – and then put on a scintillating attacking display in the second half.
Shae Pemberton, Kylie Saunders, Lacey Walton and Julie Konie all touched down in the first period, with Pemberton adding two conversions.
Then the floodgates opened.
While Aberdeen tried valiantly, they couldn’t match Muswellbrook’s enthusiasm and speed out wide.
Konie and Walton each added another two tries to secure hat-tricks, while Heidi Hartley, Ngaomi Stone and Saunders also crossed the white line.
Pemberton booted a further three goals for a personal tally of 14 points – in the side’s breakthrough win of the season.
MUSWELLBROOK RAMETTES 54 (Lacey Walton 3, Julie Konie 3, Kylie Saunders 2, Shae Pemberton, Heidi Hartley, Ngaomi Stone tries; Pemberton 5 goals) defeated ABERDEEN TIGERS 0
