Ungooroo GP Doctors Clinic & Health Services offers the only dedicated Aboriginal Health Service in Singleton and is helping in the drive to close the gap between Indigenous health and the health of the broader community.

All GP services are bulk billed.
“The GP’s office provides a culturally comfortable environment for indigenous people and stops people neglecting their health,” Ungooroo Aboriginal Corporation CEO Taasha Layer said.
“We also provide dental and other complementary services such as physiotherapy, optometry and dietary advice from a qualified dietician.”
Ungooroo encourages Aboriginal community members to come in and get their complete health check (715 health check) now. Appointments are essential and are bulk billed. Participants receive a free T-shirt.
Ungooroo is officially endorsed as an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation ACCHO, is a member of (NACCHO) (the national body in Aboriginal Health) and is credited as a general practice through Australian General Practice Accreditation Limited (AGPAL).
AGPAL accreditation was an important milestone for the organisation.
“It provides a standard of excellence as an Aboriginal community controlled health organization and sets a benchmark in providing quality and safety within our general practice,” she said.
Located at 128 George Street, Singleton, Ungooroo is also open to the general public and operates Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm.
