The alterations between Magpie Street and Rixs Creek Road, and Cemetery Lane and Waddells Lane are for investigation work on ground conditions required for the development of the Singleton bypass.
Work will be carried out at night between 7pm and 5am from Monday, October 15, to Friday, October 19, weather permitting.
Traffic control, including lane closures and a reduced speed limit of 40km/h, will be in place for the safety of workers and motorists.
Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions, follow the direction of signs and traffic control.
