POLICE are appealing for information from the public after a suspicious fire broke out over the weekend at Muswellbrook.

Emergency services were called to the scene at Common Road just after 12.30pm on Sunday.
The fire destroyed 38 vehicles and a Hyundai Robex 55 excavator before it was extinguished.
Crews from Muswellbrook, Denman and Aberdeen Fire & Rescue NSW also attended the blaze.
On arrival, there were large amounts of thick, black smoke billowing from a wrecking yard.
No injuries were reported.
Officers from Hunter Valley Police District established the crime scene and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The cause of the fire is yet to be determined, but police say they are treating it as suspicious.
