It might have been a red carpet, but gold was the colour on everyone's lips as the celebrities started to arrive at the 60th Logie awards.

From Gold Logie nominees to the balmy Gold Coast location, there was no avoiding the shiny hue on Sunday night.
While A Current Affair's Tracy Grimshaw is the frontrunner to take out the major award, a last-minute surge for Family Feud host Grant Denyer is gathering momentum.
"Tom Gleeson got involved and picked up my campaign without even asking and just went nuts with it, so he's promoting #DenyerforGold, Russell Crowe has kind of weighed in. It's all getting pretty serious," Denyer told AAP.

"To have him on your side, you know you've got half a chance."
The Project host Waleed Aly, a former Gold Logie winner, reflected on his win at Sunday night's red carpet.
"Every now and again I get reminded that I've won it and it's a lovely reminder," Aly said.
He was joined on the carpet by his Project co-hosts including Carrie Bickmore and Lisa Wilkinson.
Karl Stefanovic also made an appearance after previously saying he would boycott the event when it was announced it was moving from Melbourne to the Gold Coast.
Hollywood royalty arrived in the form of NCIS star Wilmer Valderrama who didn't rule out the possibility of filming an Australian episode of the police drama.
"I can't confirm that... but I definitely wouldn't be opposed to it," he told AAP.
ABC TV's War On Waste host Craig Reucassel proudly showed off his op-shop suit, complete with its Salvation Army tag.
"I'm wearing op-shop clothing only. I still can't believe what you can find in an op shop," he said.
Another Gold Logie favourite Amanda Keller opted for a white dress
"I did feel a bit like a bride getting dressed today," Keller told AAP.
"It's been a strange week leading up to it, it's very hard to spruik yourself. It's very hard to sell yourself so I'm really glad the night's here and what will be, will be."
Former Gold Logie winner, actress Jessica Marais, is once again up for the big gong but pulled out of the awards night citing health reasons.
The other contenders are Doctor Doctor actor Rodger Corser and Selling Houses Australia host Andrew Winter.
Comedian and radio host Dave Hughes will open the ceremony for the fourth year in a row while TV personalities Carrie Bickmore, Julia Morris, Scott Cam, Hamish Blake and Andy Lee will be among the celebrities to present awards on the night.
British singers Jess Glynn and Dan Caplen, Australian singer Conrad Sewell and Kelly Rowland alongside The Voice winner Sam Perry will all be performing.
