And, the Hunter Valley will have its turn when Field of Greens makes its way to Singleton (41-43 George Street) on Saturday, June 2, from 8am to 3pm.
Following on from the hugely-popular House Plant Revival at the Edwards Bar, Desert Sunday Collective is bringing their unique collection of house plants, succulents and cacti to Field of Greens.
Second generation plant grower and proprietor of Desert Sunday Collective Amanda Marsh says she is passionate about taking the collection to areas that don’t have as much access to quality and unique plants.
“In the Hunter Valley we’ll have all the generations of plant lovers, from the grandmother who is seeing all the trends come back around to the millennials who are just starting their collection,” she said.
Desert Sunday Collective is partnering with one of their favourite local cafés, Worn Out Wares/WOW Flowers on the main street of Singleton.
“We are also passionate about local business,” said Amanda.
“We are from a long line of entrepreneurs in local country businesses and we love them.
“They contribute so much to the community and it’s always been our vision to support other businesses where we can.
“Apart from that, Worn Out Wares is our best kept secret with their combination of home wares, antiques, coffee, food and flowers.
“It’s a quality café experience in the Hunter that rivals any in the big smoke and definitely worth the drive if you live out of town.”
Desert Sunday Collective will have a large collection of locally-grown plants including sort after ferns, hardy winter indoors and collectible succulents and cacti as well as lots of pots and plant accessories.
The collection will surely please all house plant lovers and avid gardeners alike.
