The Mick Schmiedel-coached team, which featured Scone’s Sofie Casson and Muswellbrook’s Shae Pemberton, lost 30-2.
Greater Northern regional manager Scott Bone said Central Coast “was just too quick”.
“They have a really good side and will take some beating next week,” he admitted.
“Our girls played well though, defended very well.
“It was only 6-2 at half-time but we were under pressure throughout.
“The girls defended strongly.”
Schmiedel backed up those comments.
“They defended so well,” he said.
“We actually led 2-0 after 15 minutes but Central Coach is a good team, well coached and quick.
“They did post a couple of late tries to blow the score out.”
While all his side tried hard, he didn’t want to single any players out.
Bronte Harris won the Greater Northern Tigers players’ player award while Aimee Diebold, Casson and Jess Baker were impressive.
The Roosters now tackle the GSR Wests Tigers for the title this weekend, while the Monaro Colts and Northern Rivers go head-to-head in the men’s under-23 decider.
